landing gear bungee cord

Can some tell me the correct diameter of landing gear bungee cord for a model 3 Also I found the length listed at 60 inches loop to loop is this correct? Thanks

According to the Kitfox catalog, the shock cords are the same for Models 1-4. I don't know the length. I just purchased a new set from them but haven't installed them yet.

I just went out and measured an old set I took off my Model 4. 3/8" diameter and 61 and 1/4 inches outside the end loops. The instructions say six wraps. Eat your Wheaties.

I've bought the shock cord from Aircraft Spruce several times. I bought it a foot longer than needed, and that left something to hang on to when tieing off the second loop. I was actually able to install the bungees on my Kitfox 1 by myself this summer. Where there's a will, there's a way. Jim Chuk
