Kitfox IV Speedster Tire Replacement

Folks,
Finding 20x7 smoothies for 8" rims isn't easy. I have the original landing gear on my 92 Kitfox IV Speedster, and Cheng Shin 20x7s on 8" ATV rims.

I am very interested in the Nanco's 21x12x8s but I don't want to purchase them until I'm confident they will have enough clearance given that I'm going from 7" wide tires to 12" wide tires. I could be happy with two more 20x7s but finding smoothies seems impossible.

Anyone else swap out a similar size tire with these? Any suggestions would be appreciated very much.

lets see here. looks in your picture you have the model 4 with original landing gear. I once upon a time had that and I had the nanco size tires on that setup also. So I say you can do it.

I'm running the Nanco's on my model 4- I've been really happy with them for the last 3 years- they should be a direct replacement for what you have.

The nankos are a viable alternative to buffing he tread off atv tyres,it's not a lot of fun! There would be a slight increase in drag and weight.
They fit the std fox gear and Highwing cabane gear no problem:)
