Hi from the UK,
I have a question.
The two pieces of nylon? each side which support the inboard end of the flaperon pivot (one half in the turtle deck and one on the main fuselage).
I have to replace them for my next inspection as they are cracked.
Are they bought items or are they made to a drawing/pattern?
I've looked in the parts catalogue but can't find them.
If they are made parts, is there a drawing anyone can send to me (please :))

Just call Kitfox, they have them. I just bought some myself. They come in two halves that you need to cut down to the proper total width.

The material is 1/4" UHMW.

Mine are way thinner than 1/4" probably 1/8"
They may have been incorrect from the start, or they may have been thickened up by Kitfox over the years I guess.

Mine are riveted in place, at 1/4" would bolting be better?

Forget what I said. I misunderstood the bearings you were talking about. The model 7 I built does not use those pieces.

I redid mine a few years ago. I used 1/8" Derlin (Acetal Copolymer) sheet ordered from Amazon. When I redid mine I hinged the lower portion to match the Model IV design to make wing folding easier. They've worked out just fine.

I have plenty of leftover material, but shipping to the UK might not be worth it.

I hope this helps. It is from the KF3 build manual. Please excuse the construction notes added.
