Just thought I would say Hi and introduce myself. I have been quietly reading and searching to answer many of my questions already!

I am part of a growing group here, former RV owner (RV9A) convert to Kitfox enthusiast. Last weekend I bought a Kitfox 7 and made an enjoyable 9 hour x-country journey to get it home. What a blast to fly down low seeing the sights!

Here's a couple of pictures.

I know I'll have many questions as we go along. Hope to start helping out too as I have been active on the RV forums for years.

Welcome to the Forum Andy ,..

sweet plane you purchased,..is it the rotax 912 or a conversion motor on it?
From what I've read on here there are a few WA members,..and a few RV owners that own kitfox's as well.

Yep, it has a 912ULS 100HP. Ivo 3 blade, GRT EFIS, etc etc etc... Quite nice, but now I'm going to start the customization process. I have some 8.5x6's and a tail wheel that are calling it's name! New radio, possibly new panel layout, I've got all kinds of ideas. I just love to tinker and now have a new project to do it with.

I can relate to the "tinkering" an avid tinkerer myself,

Welcome. I'm in spokane, on the other side. I also own an RV7A. Talk about tinker. I have two planes to do that with. Always doing something to them.

My plan right now is to find somebody to fly along with to homedale for the fly-in in kitfox's and than a week later take the wife and go to the Badlands in the rv7a. busy couple weeks.

Andy, Welcome to TeamKitfox.com.
I have added your photo album to the Directory under the Model 7 heading.
Great looking Kitfox.
