I got mine from Stein Air. I found them to be very helpful and knowledgeable. See the link on the left under supporting vendors.

I'd second JohnB's recommendation.....been to their shop.....several of their folks are also Experimental aircraft builders; and, they have shown to be right on top of the knowledge base on new & all garmin products as well as what works and what does not in the avionics world. They will help you along the way.

Stark Avionics will be your cheapest solution for experimental aircraft avionics. At least that has been my experience. They sell Garmin products and offer significant discounts. I used them on 3 planes and highly recommend them. They have an instant email quote system so you can check out their pricing.
