A bit ugly perhaps.... The double slotted flaps are pretty effective earth repellants too!

I remember the first time that i hear that Earth that can repel ugly airplaine in the sky........ sorry for the Kitty that sexy plane will need a anti gravity field generator to by able to take-off verticlly...... Earth wont repel it for sure!!!:D
For that experimantal Cub base plaine yes the view from the bulb canopy is appealing!;)

I agree it's all about the mission.
Take the time to see all it can do (there's even more video on it floating around on the net -like it jumping off a cliff over an ice field) and you will see that it was most definitely designed for mission / function, with little or no concern about aesthetics. In defense of that design priority, the moon lander wasn't pretty either....

That has got to be one expensive Prptotype. Twin engine, that plex bubble probably a small fortune. I'd bet he spent $200,000 building it.
