Rod End Thread Lube

Not sure if this has been asked before, but is there any reason that anti-sieze compound should not be used on the threads of the rod ends? I've seen other comments about using LPS on them or Linseed oil to prevent rust.

I really don't see any reason why not to use anti-sieze. I did not use any product on mine and four years later I have no corrosion. Maybe not a bad idea to avoid corrosion in wet or humid conditions.
