If Paul is on here I would like to ask him about his grove gear fairing. Did he modify the the fuselage? It looks like the grove gear goes into the fuselage...maybe 2 piece gear?
PS Thanks for posting all these pictures. I am loving them. Very cool to see how different the same plane can look.

Josh, not sure if Paul has signed on yet. He did not build it and just aquired it if I heard right. The gear looks stock with some nice fairings at the gear attach points and nice fairings over brakes on the wheel pants. I'll take some closer photos in a few minutes for you.

Here in Texas the sky is trying to wash us out into the Gulf of Mexico. We got enough rain to fill a 10 to 12 inch tall plant pot to the brim of rain at my house yesterday.

Josh, after close inspection, Paul's gear has been very nicely faired in to the fuselage.

Very nice, thanks for the close up photos. I have often thought of fairing that area as it is probably the draggiest thing on the plane.

Too bad ohiofox never updated the pictures of how he cleaned up the bottom.
Love this plane...playing around with tone mapping.
