It's not a large show, but worth going. We usually go on Saturday and because it's not a large show, you have time to visit with the vendors without feeling pushed. It's where I was first introduced to Kitfox through a mutual friend who flew up from Nashville.

I sure wish we could get something like this Expo a little closer to my neck of the woods. It seems like all the good shows are just a little too far away. And with no wings at this time, it makes it difficult to attend.

Rob
I would think there would be substantial interest in the northeast.
Try contacting the promoters?

Sanderson Field in Greenland looks to be a lot of fun. I was just whining a bit as I never seem to see an "LSA Expo" (with numerous vendors) being organized in the New England area. With a full time job, it's not something I could even begin to think of taking on.

I was there yesterday along with one other Kitfox (guy named Mark). Had to skedaddle back home in the afternoon so I wouldn't get trapped by the T-Storms.

There were some nice planes, but all are priced about the same as a new Tesla.

My co pilot Maddie is still in school, or i probably would have flown over thursday, this afternoon when i picked her up at school the plan was to head over to MVN, AWOS was saying 360@5 cieling 3100 ...etc but figured id check the doplar , big squall line looked like it would hit around 5:00 pm , so i figured Id wait til morning , word is 3 of the vendors tents were uprooted but no damage to any planes, high winds heavy rain , its cleared out now, looks good tomorrow a bit on the cool side tomorrow nite, maddie wants to camp ,. We will see

Paul, i want a P-51 replica for my next plane, the SW-51 is there but not ready to fly for a couple more weeks according to Mitchel Hansen , but if I can talk him into letting me check it out, then it will be worth the trip

The show is a great setup if you're looking to get a demo flight in one of the many designs represented there. I noticed one vendor was trying to weed out the tire kickers with a $25 demo flight fee.

If he lets me show him how to fly it, i will pay the $25👍

we made it is far as H88 and FAM Farmington..the surface winds were 15-20 aloft at one time I got hit by 40 mph gusts..we landed at FAM and had to tie down,,.we had fun at Farmington MO (FAM)..they had a mini fly in going on while we waited for the rain to clear west to proceed to MVN..by the time it looked like clear weather,.. it was too late.. so we headed home
