Thanks again everyone ! This was a two year project
for me. Loved it. Will likely build again (The kitfox 5 in classifieds looks interesting ). Wife says I need to fly this one first! Looking forward to it

Looks great. I may try making it back up that way again this fall with the bushwheels.

Where did you get the landing gear with bungees if you don't mind my asking? Plane looks nice by the way. Congrats on getting it done. Jim Chuk

Lowell told me the evening before that he had an inspection. Glad it passed for you. He was asking me about the differences between mine and a Kitfox IV since he had never inspected a 4 before. Maybe we will get to fly together soon. I had mine at Angola airport for the balloon festival.

Lowell told me the evening before that he had an inspection....

Would love to see yours and go flying some time! I heard a kitfox was at balloons aloft this year. Couldn't make it,was working on my fox at the time
Lowell is a great DAR. So much knowledge! Would recommend him any time!
I'm finishing my private now, then need some tail dragged time then will fly
the kitfox.:)

Lowell has been my neighbor and friend for over 40 years. He has helped me a lot on my kitfox. My wife and I went to Balloons Aloft to spend some time with friends who we fly balloons with. Had to see his new balloons, Yellow Bird and Puddy Cat. Once we were there we got talked into helping crew.

Where did you get the landing gear with bungees

I used a set of Highwing gear to make fixtures, increased the tube thickness a little, built billet 4130 ends. Went with lighter die springs and added bungees
for a little adjustability. I like the way they came out.

Mike, good to meet you today at the Turner fly-in. Looking forward to seeing your plane. Bring it over and fly with us as soon as you get the restriction flown off.
