I recently had a local sign and banner shop make vinyl lettering for my boat. It looks great, easy to apply and fairly cheap.

Will this work on fabric airplanes if I want to add graphics? Downsides?

Bill,

The builder of my 15 year old KF II used lettering you can purchase at a hardware or big box store for the N number. They are still on the tail.

Thanks Lou. This is what my N number is done with. I'm looking more at graphics than registration numbers though.

I had my N number made by a graphics shop, the numbers mimic the design that is painted on my plane going from blue to yellow, any place that advertises doing "wraps" can make up any type graphic, Mike Cooper in Branson area does it, he is also a teamkitfox member

I had these stickers made as well and got the graphics PDF done to make T shirts, still getting a vendor lined up/worked out to do the shirts/hats etc

Thanks Chase. Any issues with breath ability or anything else to consider with vinyl? It seems a simple and cheap way to go so I figure there must be a flaw somewhere...

I have not been up there. What is the identifier? I'm trying to get brave enough to land mine on my property. In the meantime, I keep it at Bentonville Airport.

I've been posting this picture a lot lately, as the topic of vinyl has come up a few times recently here and elsewhere. I made the red stripe down the sides of my Avid MK IV with pressure sensitive vinyl that I bought online. It worked well and held up fine. Here it's stuck to fabric, aluminum door, and fiberglass cowl. The wing trim was paint. Jim Chuk

Thanks Jim. That looks good. Any issues with peeling (unwanted)?

Chase, I have a friend who works at Outdoor Cap in Bentonville. If you want, I can have her look at making the hats.

Anybody know why my profile picture uploaded upside down? I tried 2 different pictures with the same result.

guessing your taking the pictures with your phone ? try rotating it the other way ..or mail it to yourself and open the file in paint and save it then post it.

as for hats/t shirts the best deal around here so far is $125 for 12 shirts hats $12 a piece
