It is hard for me to have a "happy" memorial day when I remember the friends I lost fighting for our country. It is a somber day. High school friends that I will never see again. Doing what they did because we thought it was for the benefit of our country.

I had a great Memorial weekend with the Mrs. thanks to all our vet's alive and deceased.

If you would please allow me a small indulgence, I'd like to remember my buddy ADC Bob Seeds who died in the north Pacific during peacetime. He was a Jet mech. Chief in VS-33 on CVN-68 USS Nimitz when the accident happened.
