Good Morning,
The Rotax 912ULS has a threaded tab next to the Cylinder studs on the top outboard end of each cylinder. Cylinders 1 & 2 have the threaded tab by the front stud of the cylinders and Cylinders 3 & 4 have the tab by the rear stud - so they are sort of located on all 4 corners of the engine.
We use the port/front tab to mount a cushion clamp holding one of the oil hoses to the oil tank - at least on some of the S7s.
Does anyone have any knowledge as to the purpose Rotax intended for these 4 threaded holes in these tabs?
Sincerely,
Dave S
