Wonder if my Tinnitus would be as bad, had I installed this ANR kit ten years
ago??? Talk about an awesome upgrade, I'll never go back to non-ANR. What
an amazing improvement in sound reduction.

If anybody has been wondering just how good is this kit:

I'd say worth every penny, and I'll probably buy another kit for at least
one more of my headsets that I use for passengers.

i have to agree , i used a converted dc for probably 4 years . i installed the panel power , worked great never had to worry about batteries dying . i did have some trouble , had to replace an ear piece . started a warble that got so loud that id have to remove the headset .

The kit I used would only fit David Clark style earcups ... However with them,
and a couple other parts, ANY of the el-cheapo clone headsets then become
better headset than a David Clark.

I added an Acousticom adjustable gain mic to a set of Pilot Avionics that
I used the kit in, and with a couple other mods it became a super set of
headsets. Very much my favorite headset.

Sort of like the headset equivalent of this car ...

I have used a converted DC set for over 10 years in my KF. A couple years ago I acquired a RV and some Bose headsets. Found the DCs with the add on ANR were better at removing the higher freq noise that we have with the Rotaxs than the Bose. The Bose remove the low end rumble of the Lycoming better.

Paul,
I'm confused as to what you are asking since the Lightspeed Zulu are already an ANR type headset. Are you asking about the panel power?

I have the MGLV6 radio and MGL headsets, love them, paid a little more for radio but headsets were low in cost
