SS7 flap hinge on a 5 wing

What about using the new style top mount SS7 hinge on a 5 wing. The older style mount on the 5 looks harder to work with being mounted on the top and bottom of the wing and using 4 pieces for each hinge, this looks much harder to work with lining things up . I am at the that point were making any changes would be easy to do. Okay lets hear from everyone what's the right thing to do new or old style hinges.

The new mounts have four pieces for each as well. Only two of them are buried inside the wing structure.
