For those who have installed a static line to the rear of the fuselage to the static port, has anyone installed a drain in the static line for moisture removal?

I made mine run uphill from the port so that any water that got in through the port would run back out. If I have had any condensation within the tube in the last 11 years I have not known it.

There may be an issue with a drain in that technically I think if you "open" the pitot static system you are supposed to have another pitot static check before operating "in the ATC system".

I installed the static port in the rear of the fuse. The Kitfox instructions for this optional kit said to loop the line up and then forward. As N981MS says, this seems to prevent any moisture problems.
