I was just reading about the kitfox 1 and saw they lowered the vne to 90 what was the reason for this. Not that a kitfox 1 will ever cruise at 100 anyway but i was just wondering.

i think part of it was because of the windshield . thinner material and steeper angle .

Flutter of the flaperons was a concern too.
