wing tanks

I have a kitfox 3 and have just purchased different wings because of the fuel tanks in the new wings. One has the 6 gallon and one the 13 gallon tank. On the larger tank there is the sight hose, the outlet hose, and a 3rd hose that I think might be for a vent of some type, but I am not sure.
Can anyone enlighten me on this topic
