Hello, For those of you that hava a tri-gear. Who has made a pulling device for the front nose wheel? Could you post some pictures if possible? I have some ideas but don't want to make too many prototypes!

Thanks Patrick

Just grab the propeller and go. It will follow you like a puppy.

Patrick,

Grabbing the prop at the root and pulling as SkySteve says works great for pulling it around.

I did finally buy one of the lightweight collapsable towbars from John McBean, particularly for backing it up....makes me look a lot better backing it in the hangar:o I usually toss the towbar in the back when going on any trip.

Sincerely,

I have the Kitfox push bar for the front wheel and have also pushed on the prop but find by far the easiest is to grab the handle back near the tail (pushing down to lift the nose) and pulling the plane into the hangar. One hand on the handle and the other on the rear lift strut, works well for me anyway.

I agree with Dorsal. That's the way I do it, too.
