Calling any Denver/Front Range area Kitfox owners. I’m looking for any helpful info on who can look at my Kitfox III…..Rotax and airframe for an annual. Also in the middle of getting my tail wheel endorsement but would like to hook up with someone flying a Kitfox for additional suggestions.
Thanks in advance for taking the time to respond. (III was flying previously but has been stored for a few years)
If your shy, feel free to PM me.
Dean

Hi Dean,

I'm building an S7 SS, but I don't have too much familiarity with the earlier models, nor the 2-stroke engines. Sorry that I can't recommend anyone to you, although I'm sure there must be guys out here who would do it. Good luck! I'll ask around at the next EAA Chap. 43 meeting, in about a week, if no one replies on this forum. Where will you be flying out of?

Sincerely,

John..
Thanks for the reply. Location would be my next challenge once I have it checked out. I will be looking for hanger space out of Longmont, Boulder, or Loveland.

Dean, I'm new to the Kitfox world but looking to build a SS7 after finishing my research and my garage expansion, I live in Castle Rock, and work at Centennial Airport, I'm an A&P/IA, with about 25 years experience, grew up around home built aircraft, although I make my living on Large Corporate Jets, I still have a passion for sport Avaition,
I'd love to help you out, if you have any type of manuals with any type of instructions for continued airworthiness, We can your aircraft up & running and your annual completed. Plus we can both learn a lot in the process.
Shoot me a pm and we can exchange contact info, and get you flying again!!
