I think you will need pretty much the whole FWF kit from Kitfox, plus the optional heater kit if desired, plus prop & spinner & hub extension, plus optional oil thermostat if desired, possibly some additional engine instrumentation, plus optional fuel return kit. You may be able to reuse the old firewall if you don't mind patching old holes and making new ones. I'm not sure if your old cowl will fit or not, probably not. A call to Kitfox will verify all this and get you costs.

Id guess around $25000.00 FWF, ( including engine so subtract new engine cost)not including prop, find a buyer for your existing FWF package 1st if you can :)

$7,000 Plus minus, depending on which motor mount, what components you have now that will work on a 912 etc i think there is an upgrade motor mount for the 4 , i know my 5 has the upgrade motor mount.

Are you upgrading from a 582?
That's what I did. Bought a used 912 that came off another Kitfox IV. Mount came with it. I had to buy an exhaust system ($1000) oil temp amd pressure guages ( couple hundred maybe) made up my own throttle cables and choke cables ($100) New Reg/Rec ($200?) New warp prop ($900)
used my radiator and heator from my 582, Didn't have to modify the cowl (maybe I was lucky there). I figure I had $10,000 in the whole deal minus what I sold my 582 for.

582 was great but the 912 is the perfect match for the IV airframe!
