I've got a question for some of you. What are your thoughts about riviting in the cabin top center rib similar to the way the skylight is rivited to the butt ribs? The center rib seems awful flimsey without being attached to something.

Cheers,

Mine is riveted at each end. With a foam strip and the Lexan sitting on top it doesn't seem flimsy to me.

I am just in the process of fitting the windshield and don't have the foam strip on top of the rib. I suppose that would provide some lateral rigidity.

My take on the skylight rib is pretty much to prevent vibration on the skylight from the propeller pulses. I used some weatherstrip foam on top of the rib in a color to complement the overall scheme. My primary motivation was to prevent wear scars on the skylight that would occur with movement between the rib and Lexan - in my case.
