Hello everyone! Today was a great day in the state of Nebraska! It was 72 degrees out and i thought , what a good day to start my Series 6 , rotax 912 for the first time since 2001. I purged the oil last week , topped the antifreeze and put 5 gal of 91 oct. in. I burped it and she started almost immediately! Everything went well, mags tested good, oil temp and pressure rose very nice along with cht and egt. It was nice to stand back afterwards and have a beer!!:) Also wanted to thank the Mcbeans and Mr. Dave Severson from Minnesota, for the phone calls and steering me in the right direction. Thanks So Much!

I'm working with Desert Fox to get the Video on here ASAP!

Congratulations I am sure you needed a beer! I bet it was a real kick, and definitely made all of the work to get to this point worth the effort. Waiting for a report on your first flight.

Congrats Patrick. Love those 912's. It may run even smoother after a carb. sync.

Yes make sure it is ethanol free gas. Go look up my post up on sloshing the tanks. Not fun, and not inexpensive!

You were wearing a sweeter, and one of thguys was wearing a coat. Which would lead me to believe it was cool. Even in 60 degree weather I leave my Oil Cooler duct taped to restrict flow, it takes about 15 to 25 minutes of running to warm the Temp to 120 Degrees. I would recommend masking off part of the oil cooler so it can warm up a little faster,

I love the YELLOW! I have a Blue Kitfox, I’ve grown to love the YELLOW!:D
