That looks pretty nice, John. Can you do a little more description and some more photos?

I've been thinking one of these (http://www.uflyit.com/cargo_pods.htm), but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Your's looks intriguing...

Dimensions are:

Top front 20" wide
Bottom front 18" wide
Rear width 16"
Deepest depth 11.5"
Rear depth min 4"
Max length 36"

It is built in two pieces, the top which mints to belly on the 6 mint points and the bottom that mints to top plate by front hinge and then has 6 latches 2 on each side and back.

BigJohn,
The first two links aren't valid. Then, the remaining are all the same. The photos must be named before attaching and then you'll have to re-attach them. Great pod though...Looking forward to more pics and info. Keep 'em comin'....

That agrees with my own experience, the plane is so draggy already that
what ever you hang under it does not significantly change the speeds. Also
that searching for drag reduction through fairings, and cuffs, etc. is somewhat
an exercise in futility.

Jeff

Nicely done, did you have any cooling issues?

No Cooliing Issues from the Pod, I had a previous cooling issue after 1000hrs of flight and found a hose starting to kink but not an issue from the Pod. Still have to do all the various speed vs Rpm checks with a couple of other planes that I fly with alot, That will give me the best verifications of any Rpm changes in comparrison to them.
