I have a chance to buy a used Becker 2.25" radio out of a plane with 225 hrs total time on it. I was thinking of buying an MGL at about $1,100 new. The Becker is about $1,600 new. Anyone have an estimate on the value of the used "almost new" Becker?

Chase,
Ya, I'll get that number right off to you...ya, right:D
Always hangared Bearhawk. I fly with the owner a lot and have used the radio many times. It works great. It's a second radio for him and he is changing his entire panel to a 10" Dynon Skyview, Dynon radio and Dynon transponder ADSB in/out.
I'm thinking of offering him $500 but don't want to seem like a shmuck.

I'd have to take a chance and offer $800 and wait for a rebound of around a grand then counter for $900.00 :D so $900.00 ,.but then I'm cheap lol
if you cant get it for less then the MGL that you want then ,,,,,

you could call an avionics shop and tell them your looking to upgrade and you have a low time becker,..ask what they would allow on trade ...then use that knowledge to make an offer?
