Janet Bazzill passed away.

Last night I received a call from one of our Kitfox family members informing me of the sad news of his wife's passing.
Clint Bazzill, a long time Kitfox builder and pilot, informed me of Janet Bazzill's passing of a sudden and short battle with cancer on Dec. 9th.

Janet and Clint resided at their Cameron Park Airpark home in California.

The Bazzill's were in the earliest group of sworn in Desert Fox Squadron members.

This is indeed tragic news. I spoke to him a couple of weeks ago and I hope this is not in the realm of revealing a confidential conversation, but I was deeply touched when he said to me, "She was my best friend." My heart goes out to him and I agree, our thoughts and prayers should be with him and his family.

Awful news especially this time of year. My wife is my best friend and I can't even bare the thought of ever losing her so I can't imagine what Clint is going through.
