Well it's time to fly. On 10/29/13 I received my airworthy cert. I'm hopeful that the weather will improve in the near future so I can begin the flight testing. I went with the 912uls and the skyview with the radio and transponder built in. The belly is cleaned up and it should be a good flyer. I will follow with the numbers as she hasn't left the ground. It feels good to finally own a Kitfox as I've wanted one since the early 90's.

Yes it is a SS 7. I am just learning to navigate this site. I have done a lot of reading but posting is a different story. I can't get the pic of my plane on my name. Any suggestions.

Thank you for helping me with my posting and pictures. I will be adding some more as I have alot of building pics that I would like to share. I live in Vienna Ohio 15 miles north of Youngstown. And the aircraft is based at KYNG. The paint was done by a great friend of mine Ed fisher. I always liked the Pitts look and wanted to lean that way when it came to the Kitfox. I could not be more satisfied. I hope to have it at osh. Next year. John and Debra were great they answered all the questions and provided me all the rite answers to end up with a great aircraft. Debra mite of strangled me if she could reach through the phone a cupple of times. All in all those two people are ahead of the game and have been great to do business with. Thanks for all the kind words.

Thank you chase it has been a very busy time. I will try to get some build pics In the works soon. N528HJ flew the other day. Bill Kalino from Titan aircraft came down to give me a hand to sort it all out. I thought that was a good plan as I have only flown 1 hour in the last year. I had to sell my aeronca champ and my Rv 4 to get the Kitfox done. It flew hands off know issues. The prop needs more bite. That's it. So I will be taking my turn very soon our weather has been marginal at best. It really is a great airplane and I can't wait to get some time building going. Thank you for the kind words.

Jeff,
What paint did you choose for that sweet finish?

Dan the paint was stits aerothane. The colors are Pontiac red and insignia whie. Are you building a tricycle gear or tail dragger. If it is a tail dragger I like the look of cleaning up the bottom of aircraft. I will have some pics of how we did that it gets rid of some drag at a very minimal weight.

I am a tail dragged and would love to see what you have done
Keep it up!
