Maiden Flight

Today that list of To Do Items finally got the the best one, First Flight.

Thanks to all on the forum and the McBean's for the great support in getting to this day!

The 40 minute flight was uneventful, and the plane flew beautifully. No noticeable heavy wing and the ball's in the center.

In every one of those very large crates with all those parts inside is a Kitfox waiting to get out. Congrats Tom. You shook the box of parts frequently and in just the right manner and a beautiful aircraft fell out.;)

It's always a thrill to witness a Kitfox family members first flight.:)

Still walking around with a grin today, even though they closed the airport for maintenance on one of the most beautiful days of the year ;-).

Gotta love these Rotax installations, pulled the cowl today and went over firewall forward and everything is dry and tight!

Now for fabrication of the tail fairings and the next flights once they open us up..
