Took off work yesterday afternoon to do a little Kitfoxing. It's getting nice here again so I quick mounted a brand new Go-Pro Black camera with remote control inside the cockpit.

Took off late so it was a race against the setting sun to get out to Indian Hills and back before sunset. It's 120 miles one way but winds were light out of the south so not much headwind to mess with. Took an hour each way.
This 7 minute video is the approach to Indian Hills from the east landing runway 26.
I came in like a Lear Jet and rolled full length. Ok, not like a Lear but more like a 172. It just looks faster in the video to me.

Dear Mr Lear,
Thank you for taking us along with you on your flight. Dude, (I mean, Mr Lear), you were hauling! It's good to see video of others flying. Keep 'em coming.

DF4...Great Video. When I took it to full screen, it was like I was sitting right seat for the ride! Reminds me of my first, and only, ride in Peteohms' plane. Thanks!

Steve- I'm working on another video but uploading to Youtube is so sloooooow.

Chris- Get yourself to CopperState on Friday or Sat. and we'll see what we can do about getting you some more seat time in a Kitfox.:)

You got it Steve. I looked at the map and zeroed in on the KF Parking. How many KFs were there last year? Any idea of a # planning on attending this year? Looking forward to it...oh, and that other SLOOOOWWWW video you're trying to load.

DF4,
Thanks for the ride-along. Good vid. Very clear, and we got to do some low desert flying. You've got some nice area to fly in.

Steve- not the most exciting flight to video but it was a trial run for the new version of the Go Pro. I've flown that bit of desert no less than 200 times and am on a first name basis with every cacti in that area.;)
On a side note, I had very little prop. strobe effect in the entire video. Just a little when flying into the sun on the way out. Hope that holds up. Time will tell.

Nice videos Steve...glad someone is able to take advantage of the nice weather. I'm trying to get my wing strut faring's finished up so as to burn up some liquid gold as well. :)
