Anyone have plans or know where I could buy foot steps for the spring aluminum gear to assist with getting into and out of the airplane.

I was thinking of something similar to what you might see on the Cessna spring still gear, but so far I haven't had any luck finding them.

I step on the tire, no need for a step...

Works well unless you have wheel pants.

AK360,.if you've got the tools to fabricate a bolt on step where it squeezes the gear leg,.. that would be the easiest,..just make sure to debur all sharp edges on the step where it mounts to the gear leg,.even round the edges off would be better,..sometimes T-6 rated 7075 can act like a piece of glass if etched,..even a piece of inner tube rubber between the step bracket and the gear leg would be good

if you want a portable step that you could use for passengers to get in then remove before flight you could make something like this

this could also double as a jack point if you reversed it and put it on the inside of the gear and put the jack under the step pad
