Way to go chase! Excuse my ignorance, but so much input to this forum, yet this is your first? Surely not? Great looking plane. Any details? Model, Engine, Avionics? More pics are expected when you gt her home! Congrats again!

this will be my second kitfox :) it's been since 2000 since my last which I had to sell along with all my other planes( 7 of them) to finance finding my daughter,..

model 5 outback,.it has a 912ul,..completed in 2006, has a little over 500 hrs on it,..registered lsa weighs in at 750 empty very basic panel,..which I am going to redo ,..so it is very basic,,which is fine with me,..I will mount my ifly in it,..add nav lights,..wheel pants,..and any mods that will help cruise/fuel burn,..but other then that,..the only thing I wish it had that it doesn't have is the bump cowl,..I like the bump cowl better, which down the road can be changed :)

Here is an example of the work the guy did for my boat panel, going to use him to make a new panel for the outback

What is GFW? I won't be in town this coming weekend but will probably go to the Tulsa Fly-In at BVO on the 21st. There is also a guy about 20 miles north of Joplin with a model IV.

SkyPirate

GFW is an FBO in NH, didnt know but maybe your work took you there, i worked there back in mid 90's,

There is also the guy that bought a model 3 in Nevada mo, sounds like we are fast approaching enough for a squadron :)

There is one thing your Outback likely will not have that your boat does. "Landing gear UP/Down"
But you never know with Chase.;)

Yes his boat really does have retractable gear.

It's in North Central Arkansas. Beautiful place. I know it was open at some point early summer because they had a tailwheel fly-in.
