Well after several delays, some aircraft related, more not aircraft related,
N68868 flew for the first time today 8-16-2013. Flight was uneventful, rigging was fine, after trimming plane flew hands off. What a feeling to fly something you built and brought life to. Now the real fun begins. Many thanks to everyone who answered my questions on this forum and to John and Deb at Kitfox for putting up with me for all these many months.

Dick,

Congratulations on your first flight. The fact that the flight was "uneventful" speaks well of your attention to detail in the build and careful planning of the first flight.

Brings back memories:):):)

Ya, you won't forget that feeling ever. Way to go on the first flight! Now get to know your wings, scare yourself just a little and have a great time!

I like milestones.
Especially when I'm on to the same one in a couple of days...

Give us pics, please?
