I had the wing tips up on the shelf directly above the wings.(leading edge up) They fell and the aft corner put a pencil eraser size gouge in the leading edge!!!! Not quite sure how to fix this!? Was thinking fill the hole with hysol, then just put a patch of 4" finishing tape over it?? Any thoughts would be great!

Sounds good to me

...and really, you could just use a small round patch maybe an inch and a half in diameter.

Duct tape.

What color is the plane? They do have colored duct tape :D This would definitely work at least as a temporary fix and you could fix it permanently whenever really.

I'm still in building mode! I have everything ready to spray polybrush on except fuselage.

Thinking about it I like the hysol idea. If you have something to thicken it a bit so it won't run. I would run the iron around the hole to eliminate any high spots, then using a single edge razor blade, you could spread some thickened hysol into the hole, then as George suggests, use a dollar patch. No one will every notice it.
