Putting together the new panel and was planning on using the MGL V6 radio with the built in intercomm. Have heard mumblings that this may not be such a good idea. Put in a separate system they say. So to the experience of the list:D...What say ye? What radio/intercom system are you using? Results? Integrated or seperate?

MGL V10. Works fine, intercom too.
Saves panel space, maintenance, money and convenience.
I know separate intercoms are common, but, these MGL's are of a different era.
I'd say: build it as you intend, you can always put an intercom aside it..

I use the internal intercom on my SL40, very happy with it. I did build the Aeroelectric audio box to add in alarms and warnings from the Dynons and 696.

I have an MGL V10 too and love it. These are good intercoms. The V6 is the same if not better with stereo.

I have a V6 in my Model 4. Tied in with my 496GPS for frequency downloads, stereo music input, inputs from Dynon D10A (autopilot alerts and angle of attack warnings) and the intercom works fine. Very pleased with it. Great little package.
