I ask for help, friends! I live in Russia and at us isn't present KF4 only 2 KF2 and KF7, and it to Russia to deliver very expensive, but I was lucky to buy a fuselage in Portugal, wings and a control system in America, but there was a problem - a fuselage probably from KF 3 or early KF4, and a control system from KF4. You couldn't prompt length of these pipes in the photo?
Forgive that I badly speak on English-I only started studying this language!

I think he wants someone with a KF4 fuselage to measure the three tubs that make up the triangle that he has circled

Please give some more information what you want. I would be glad to measure my Kitfox 4 project, but I don't know what you need. Thanks, Jim Chuk

Previot Tovarisch: Bottom tube (longeron) length is 10.5 inches, left tube is 10.5 inches X 3/8 inch diameter, right tube is 5.75 inches long. All measurements are to centers of tube intersections.

10.5 inches is 26.67 cm, which I would round off as 26.5 cm

5.5 inches is 13.97 cm, 14 cm

Europe/Asia is generations ahead of us using the metric system. I was a science teacher 40 years ago and tried to teach the metric system.... finally gave up 30 years ago. I have several meter sticks and 13 m tape measures. I really like working with metrics....

This is not meant as a criticism of anyone.

Believe it or not I was really disappointed when I found out the Kitfox wasn't Metric. Ah well. Growing up in Canada you get a really good handle on both.

But a 2X4 will always be a 2X4....even though dressed it's 1.5"X3.5"

Growing up in the deep South, USA, I forget about our friendliest neighbor, Canada. Like the church of Galileo's day, I often think the sun revolves around us.

Sorry for the digression and promise not to do it again.

Or was that Copernicus? :-)

Доброе утро Россия !!!!

I have a Kitfox-4 project myself, and my wife is Russian. You can email me your questions in Russian, and pictures of your work if you have them. My wife can help translate your questions. Note: I am a Control systems Engineer, but not an aircraft Engineer, but perhaps I can help you
(Я понимаю небольшого русского) I am at thx1139@sunflower.com
