The brains at EAA terminated Chad Jensen from Communities Manager and his involvement with Experimenter Magazine. Chad was the best thing the EAA had going for them. He has built at least two planes and was doing some great articles on the build of a Zenith CH 750.

It appears that EAA is doing everything they can to distance themselves from the "E" part of their name.

If you have read any of Chad's articles or listened to him speak, I urge you to let the people at EAA know your feelings and ask them to reconsider their decision.

Having an advocate for the homebuilders at EAA is huge for all of us - no matter what type of plane we are building. Here are a couple names of people that should hear from builders on how we feel. Thanks for your time.

What's the source for this information?

I was just at EAA headquarters this past weekend at a function that Chad had part in. It certainly didn't seem that he had been terminated?

From Chad directly. You can also look at this story in AvWeb.

It would be a terrible thing for EAA and all hombuilders without Chad keeping them on the right track.

Interesting...

Chad had/has many friends in the organization and some who were not so much. He also was looked on (maybe not justly) as part of Hightower's personality cult yes-men.

We all know there were many, many unjust "purges" under his reign.

Hi everybody: I wanted to let you know that I will be remaining at EAA in the role of Homebuilt Technical Specialist through our Member Services team. This will allow me to continue my work with builders inside this great organization. I have to thank EAA management for working hard to find a solution.

I appreciate the support that many of you have given me. I admit that this situation emerged because of mistakes I made in my previous position at EAA. For that, I apologize and accept full responsibility. You can be assured that I will work doubly hard to regain everyone’s trust and confidence.

See you all soon!

Glad to see you are back. No need to apologize to me. No harm no foul. Maybe I'll see you at Oshkosh
