I am doing an Annual Inspection on my plane and got to thinking that since it is one of the older planes it might be a good idea to replace the wing attached bolts. The ones that attach the wings to the front and rear carry throughs. The only markings on mine are on the bolt heads. They say "CXS". The wings are Model III wings. Can anyone tell me the exact bolts to buy to replace the existing ones? Thanks.

The one's on my model IV are AN5-30. I can't imagine their being much difference in the model III. An AN5-30 bolt is 3 and 3/32 inches long from under the head to the end.

The c and s are manufacturer markings I believe, and the X means it's a standard AN bolt.

Thanks, Geowitz. Exactly what I needed.
