Wonderful!!:) I wonder how many of them are actually building or flying the Kitfox? I know that I lurked on this website for a few years before I joined and purchased my kit.:D

Not AC Building related, but I think one of the reasons this forum is so popular is that it is Kitfox related. No political, religious, or social posts are made. Also, it is rare when folks get into online disagreements. Those disagreements that do get posted are without rancor and anger. I was on AOPA's forum years ago and that was the most argumentative bunch I've seen. I left the forum and AOPA. EAA fits in nice for me.

Thanks to the providers of this forum!

Made it to chandler yesterday late. Where lots of the kitfox action happens. Read an article in a Phoenix magazine that gave the cafe there very high reviews. Been there once a year ago but had to take the wife for a look. It closes at 2 but had a look around. Great day for flying for us Canadians but cool for Arizona:D. Time was limited so couldn't look anyone up. Maybe next time. I LIKE THIS PLACE.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the comments and Motreklaw's correct that this site is one of the most polite and respectful community forums on line.

Sorry we couldn't meet up Mic. Also we're a little embarrassed about the cool weather right now. :o Hasn't been this chilly here since 1988 I'm told.
Probably balmy for you though.;)

Nothing to fight about when you own a plane that puts a smile on your face.

Couldn't agree more, I have learned a great deal from the members of this group. Congrats to TKF (all 3000), feels like home with folks who understand the aviation obsession :)

This forum was one significant reason I decided to purchase a Kitfox. It has helped me many times in the build process.

I second "jiott" 's statement.... I would not feel at all comfortable building my Model IV if it were not for ALL of you! 3,000 is a milestone to celebrate!! Way to go folks!:)

Thanks TKF for all you do and congratulations. This is a fantastic site and i have learned so much from it. Still trying to decide wheather to have my 20 year in storage 582 refreshed or bite the bullet and change engines. I acquired the partially completed kit as default for hanger rent.

What I appreciate the most is the tried and tested information and ideas I pick up, even when just lurking. What I respect the most is the courtesy and consideration in the vast majority of postings and the absence of discrimination in the answers received, regardless of country of origin or difficulty with the English language.

Classy plane...classy membership!
