I'd like to dynamically balance my prop. Does anyone know if these are available as rentals or perhaps have one you are wiling to loan out for a modest fee?

I'm interested. $50 is a pretty reasonable rental rate.

My EAA chapter owns one.

Anyone in who would like to trek to Wisconsin we'd be happy to help, too.

I would too, but would wait for spring when it is warm.

I have been looking at one for at least a year ! , trying to justify the price ?
I would be interested in a rental as well , if the cross border thing isn't an issue . I should findout if the local EAA has something similiar first.

Lots of EAA chapters have been pooling the Due's and buying these things, except mine :(
I hear they really made a noticable difference on most experimental engines.

Glad to have it get used, will have Geowitz send it on to next in line and so on, last person sends it back to me. Happy to have it make another round this summer for those in the cooler climates.

Geowitz is balancing now, anyone else interested now or next summer?

Dorsal, I would be interested in renting this unit from you also but it will probably be later spring or early summer.

Thanks

Cool, should go on to jamesmil after Geo then perhaps wait for warmer weather. If there are others in the south interested let me know.

just got through balancing the prop on our kitfox ss7, also did my rv7 with 180hp and a friends rv4 200hp along with a kitfox model 4. what an eye opener. all props were out of spec, the ss7 was .52 the rv7 was. 62 with a target of .02 ips on the dynavibe.
after flying the planes it was easy to see and feel the improvement.
thank you dorsal for making your dynavibe available to the kitfox forum.

Thanks Dorsal. Dynavibe worked great. I went from 1.07 ips to .04 ips. On to the next dynamically challenged person.

Is the Dynavibe still available for rental? What's the process?
Thanks

For Dorsal, Are you still renting the dyna vibe out? I am looking for a local prop balancing company with no luck so far (Seattle area). All the prop shops I have contacted say " we do not work on props for small engines such as Rotax 100 hp".
