What do you use to mount the brake lines to conventional landing gear ?
I am not planning on using speed fairings that I could hide them in.
using two clamps makes for a 1 inch standoff.Which seems kinda hokey.
Thanks Dutch
Dutch, the builder's manual suggests using plastic tie wraps. I left my gear uncovered for a while and used the tie wraps. If I was going to keep using the tie wraps I would replace them every couple months. Better yet, fabricate some aluminum clamps that hold the lines tight against the rear of the gear leg rear struts.

Tom thanks for the reply.
My kit manual is rather vague on the subject.
I'm thinking of attaching 4 or 5 short pieces of stainless brake line to the back of each gear with hysol and stringing the lines through to support them that way. What do you think?
Thanks Dutch
Dutch, I thought about the same type of thing but didn't because I figured it would require a large glob of hysol to make them secure. I just went with the "keep it simple method" tye wraps. I'm more into functional and light than complex and/or heavy on my kitfox.
Every time I think I would like to add an accessory to my airplane I throw it up in the air first. If it comes back down I don't put it on.;)
