It is easy to sit around and talk about how there aren't as many young people in aviation. The Kitfox seems to not have that problem.

Here is what I found with 14 Kitfoxes in my yard.

3831
Ty
21 years old with 500 hours and an Instrument and Commercial

3832
Brendon
24 years old with his own Kitfox III with 912
Headed to fly KC-135's for the Guard in the coming months

3833
Jared
28 years old with a Kitfox II and a III
Flies a 750 hp Agcat for a living

Not many airplanes would have this many great stories with so few people.
I love the Kitfox and you must too.

I hope that plague propagates to the North East.

It's working here in Central Texas! I just took my two boys (10 & 8 yrs old) on their first GA flight on the 15th! It was in a C-172R, 2 hrs clockwise loop around the Military Reservation. They both loved it and I think I've created a couple of new Hangar Rats! Now...just to buy, build, and fly my own SS7....soon, I hope?!?!:D:D
