We just installed these 21/800-6 4-ply AERO CLASSIC tires on our speedster IV.

A friend who has a similar pair on his Rans7 recommended 18psi on pavement and around 10 for off-road. He said it gets squirrely above 20psi in terms of ground characteristics since the aircraft is 1000 lbs (not 1500+ like other draggers).

Dresser (where we got them) said 25-30, but when we had them at 25 earlier today they looked quite full.

Has anyone had these or similar on the kitfox, and if so what do you recommend for psi on pavement/dirt?

Thx!

I have the 2ply version. I run 10-12 psi. Any higher is just to hard for me, plus it way to bouncy. :D

First, I've gotta complement you on a VERY nice looking Kitfox!

I run 21x12x8 Nancos @ 8 PSI.... it would seem 18 PSI is a little high....IMHO.

Thanks! Yours too, always like red.

Good to hear. You tubes or tubeless? Since we have tubes, what do you think the lowest we can safe go on pavement and avoid sheering valve-stems?

Yup..... I'm running tubeless.

I just don't know what PSI would be good with tubes. Sorry.

I'm running tubes in mine so I keep them at about 15 psi to hold the tubes. I would thing 10 would still hold the beads in a tubeless application.
