A perfect storm. An apparently overloaded plane, high density altitude, flying into rising terrain. They were very lucky...

NTSB record: WPR12LA283

U63 -Elevation: 6370 ft.

The comment section is full of garbage, as usual in YouTube.
But, one of them points to the fact that the mixture was fully rich (at 0:14) This may have been on purpose to help cooling the engine, but reduces the available power.
Another comment "guesstimates" the density altitude to around 9700'.
After the initial small climb it sinks touching the ground again at ~1:01, then continues rolling into what seems to me an area beyond the end of the runway. Plenty of time to abort.

Roberto.

Ouch!!
So glad all survived and will recover.

Proves you can't wish an airplane into the sky.
His GO-NO-GO decision point went by about 3 times during that "take-off".
