I am considering going from 600 tires to 850s. Is the tube in the 600s able to be used with the 850s?

No sorry, you would need whole new tubes. the 8.50 is quite a bit bigger.

I would highly suggest the non certified 8.00x6.00x21 tires that I'm running. They are a full 21" in diameter (same as the atv tires) and virtually the same size as your proposed 8.50s but much lighter.
Mine are Aero Classics and I got them from Airdale Sportplane & Supply. Both tires and tubes for roughly $250 for the set.

I seem to remember these weighed ~10-11lbs. each. Tires and tubes also available direct from Desser with free shipping and complimentary tire talc.

For the talc, i was wondering, can you use talc baby powder? Or does it have to be a special tire talc.
