I see where some of you also ran out of the birch plywood .4x25 rib stiffeners. What was used in place of the birch or where is the best place to purchase more. (Interpretate that as cheap) Aircraft Spruce seems to want to sell a larger quantity than I need. Besides Aircraft Spruce, what other companies are out there for homebuilder needs?

I'll bet Kitfox would give you a good deal on some.

RC hobby stores, and also some craft stores, sell 1/8" birch plywood in small pieces. You will have to saw strips off the pieces.

Don't forget to stiffen the elevator ribs like I did. The manual is not very clear on this, but they do need stiffening.

Thanks Jim, I found the perfect plywood at Hobby Lobby. It is Basswood, 3/32x4x24 for $2.79 a piece. I have a bandsaw to cut them to size. Why is it the simple solutions don't come to mind until you bounce it off someone else. This forum is the best.
