Carbon fibre ribs bonded to aluminum spars might not be a great idea due to corrosion. In any case, it would sure increase the cost.

I don't think we will see a Kitfox 8. If it's not broke dont fix it. Skystar did a good job but I can't help but think all that R&D put them in the hole. The McBeans have it right. Fix little things one at a time such as the trim etc.

I'd love to have a good handling (Kitfox-sportscar handling) tandem two seater! Champs, Cubs, Rans S7 all handle like slugs. Sure they sometimes perform well in the STOL world, but they still handle like a spoon in a bowl of jello...
