After a long, no too long overhaul (new engine, complete recovering and painting and new avionics) a star is born.
I'll go tomorrow for the last things to do and flight tests and return to home with my almost new bird !
Will be difficult to succeed to get asleep tonight :o

Thanks for all.
Yes good answer it's a DUC propeller model FC Windspoon expensive but good

I made the dynamic balancing today, added 0,35 weight and it removed completely the vibrations really impressive !

Nice looking plane! I like the landing gear, who made it?

It's the cabane gear from HighWing LLC and Nanco tires in 21" like the other guy i forgot the nickname with the blue and black kitfox who made the retrofit before me.

I switch to this one from an Arplast propeller the previous owner installed. I don't know if it was because it was very old but when i test full power on ground with the DUC I fill much more traction of the propeller.
It's very quiet. For the consumption i can't compare as i didn't fly a lot with the old one. In France some say it's good propeller others say it's only marketing...so:(

Hi!

I know this is an old thead but I am interested in knowing how your airplane performs with the DUC propeller. I am currently in the process of giving a Kitfox 2 its second life.

What engine/gearbox are you using?
How many degres pitch on the propeller do you run?

Also it would be interesting to know how you like the landing gear.

Thanx!

By the way your Kitfox looks really nice!

Here is the link to the Prop page, the first post with the link would not go into the catalog. Hope this works. http://www.duc-helices.com/index_page.php

I have seen the catalog before, but it would be nice to hear from someone that has actually used that type of prop on a Kitfox how it worked. It sure looks cool, but does it perform?
