All,

Need some help - again.. I'm working on the engine now (Rotax 912UL) per the manual, and pic's are a great help. However I can't find any clear pics of the engine in a Classic IV / 912 UL combination (cowl-removed). For example I did not know I had to switchthe manifold units until I found out that the carburettors did not fit between the motormount ;-(

Any pic will certainly help a lot

Tx in advance

Hans,
Photos below. The scoop and SCAT tubing was for a heater air source. Everything else was pretty standard, I think. Incidentally if you are going to use an oil cooler, tight bends can be made in the oil lines if you insert a spring or coil of wire into the tubing. It will prevent the tube collapsing.

May want to leave the carburetors on the appropriate sides and moving only the manifolds.. This will allow for easier adjusting of the throttle linkage and choke.
