Striping Tape

Does anyone have any experience using paint shop striping tape over painted fabric?

I striped and lettered my Model 4 with vinyl. It looks great and has held up excellent so far. I finished it about a year ago. Take a look at my profile for pics.

Yep it works great never had a problem just use a good quality tape (3M for one).

Do you mean masking tape for painting... or colored tape that IS your trim stripes?

Colored tape that Is the stripe. I used it successfully on my RV7 - but that was metal and this is fabric, so not sure if there will be a different result.

The 20 year old tape on my plane is starting to peel in spots.
