Just starting the first build steps - reaming and already a question. Obviously the reaming is going to remove the powdercoat. Nothing is said in the manual about restoring corrosion protection. What is recommended for these post-reamed holes? I know the bushing locations will get Loctite when the busing are pressed in, but certainly not the bolt holes.

I am thinking that I will use oil for corrosion protection.

I tended to use a little light oil on reamed surfaces.

Try using a product called "POLYLUBE 250". It comes from a company I believe called Winzer or Wintzer. It sprays on thin and then sets up tacky and stays wwre ever you put it. I use it on my motorcycle chain and to protect guns for longterm storage. If you can't find it, a good chain lube does the same thing.
